Storyline:
Two New York cops get involved in a gang war between members of the Yakuza, the Japanese Mafia. They arrest one of their killers and are ordered to escort him back to Japan. In Japan, however, he manages to escape. As they try to track him down, they get deeper and deeper into the Japanese Mafia scene and they have to learn that they can only win by playing the game the Japanese way.

One of my favorite Movies from the late 80's , The Story the Characters and The Ending is one of the best from 1987 , I could easily say "Douglas" Best Performance back then and even to this day , this Movie still holds up ,Movies like these are not made anymore, if you haven't seen it , you owe it to your self to see it .

This was a trippy film. The best way I can put it, is what if you combined elements of Altered States with Scanners, and then tried making that into an art film. Even then, that description doesn't do the movie justice. I really enjoyed the majority of the movie, but felt it veered off toward the end. Recommended if you want to see a sci-fi flick with some interesting visuals, and 80's flair.
